Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you will chastise and release me. Just as you did for the man in the Bible, I ask that you would discipline me and set me free from any bondage or captivity that may be holding me back. Help me to trust in your loving correction and to surrender to your will for my life. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always keeping your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
