Dear Lord, as we journey through this life, we know that we will face challenges and obstacles. We pray that you will equip us with the tools we need to overcome them. Just as you instructed your disciples to take a purse and a bag, we ask that you provide us with the resources we need to navigate this world. And just as you told them to sell their cloak and buy a sword, we ask that you give us the strength and courage to defend ourselves and those we love when necessary. We trust in your guidance and protection, and we thank you for always being with us. Amen.

Verse: Then he said to them,“But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
Luke 22:36
