Dear God, help me to let go of my own desires and ambitions. Help me to trust in your plan for my life and to be willing to sacrifice my own comfort and security for the sake of others. Give me the strength to lay down my own life and to follow you wholeheartedly, knowing that in doing so, I will find true life and fulfillment. Amen.

Verse: Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
Luke 17:33
