Prayer based on Luke 17:17. Themes: Gratitude, Healing, Faith

Dear Lord Jesus,

As I come before you in prayer, I am reminded of the story of the ten lepers who were cleansed by your miraculous touch. I am grateful for the healing and blessings you have bestowed upon me, but I am also convicted by your question, “But where are the nine?”

Forgive me, Lord, for the times when I have failed to express my gratitude and thanksgiving for all that you have done for me. Help me to have a heart of gratitude and to always remember to give you thanks for your goodness and mercy.

May I never take your blessings for granted, but always be mindful of your grace and love. Thank you for your unfailing love and for always being there for me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Jesus answered,“Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Luke 17:17

This is a Command. The verse is a rebuke from Jesus to the reader to not be like the nine lepers who did not return to give thanks after being healed.
