Dear Lord, as I strive to do all the things that are commanded of me, help me to remember that I am but an unworthy servant. May I never seek recognition or praise for doing what is expected of me, but instead find joy in fulfilling my duty to you. Thank you for the privilege of serving you, and may I always do so with humility and gratitude. Amen.

Verse: Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘ We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”
Luke 17:10

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to acknowledge their duty as a servant and to recognize their unworthiness even after fulfilling their duties.
