Praying from Luke 15:7. Themes: Repentance, Redemption, Grace
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. Thank you for your unfailing love and mercy that never ceases to amaze me. I claim the promise in your word that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.
Lord, I pray that you would help me to be a witness for you and to share your love with those who do not yet know you. I pray that you would open their hearts to receive your truth and that they would turn to you in repentance.
I trust in your promise that there will be great joy in heaven when even one sinner repents. May I be a part of that joy by sharing your love and leading others to you. Thank you for your grace and forgiveness, and for the joy that comes from knowing you.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
