Praying from Luke 15:24. Themes: Redemption, Forgiveness, Celebration.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I claim the promise of your word that says, “for this, my son, was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found.” I thank you for the gift of salvation through your son Jesus Christ, who died and rose again to give us eternal life.
I pray that you would help me to always remember the depth of your love and the sacrifice that was made for me. May I never forget that I was once lost, but now I am found, and that I have been brought from death to life through your grace.
I ask that you would fill me with joy and celebration, just as the father in the parable celebrated the return of his lost son. May my heart overflow with gratitude and praise for all that you have done for me.
Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of eternal life. I trust in your unfailing love and pray that you would continue to guide me on the path of righteousness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
