Prayer based on Luke 1:32. Themes: Messiah, Kingship, Divine Sonship.
Dear Lord,
I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and praise. I thank you for the promise that you have given us in your word, that He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. I claim this promise for myself and for my loved ones.
Lord, I pray that you will give us the strength and courage to live our lives in a way that honors you. I pray that you will guide us and lead us on the path that you have set before us. I pray that you will give us the wisdom to make the right decisions and the faith to trust in your plan for our lives.
Lord, I also claim the promise that you will give him the throne of his father David. I pray that you will establish your kingdom in our hearts and in our lives. I pray that you will reign in us and through us, and that we will be a light to the world around us.
Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your love. I trust in your promises and I know that you will never fail us. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
