Praying from 1 John 3:1 relating to Love, Identity, Rejection.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am in awe of the great love that you have bestowed upon me, that I am called your child. Thank you for choosing me and adopting me into your family. I pray that I may always remember this promise and live my life as a true child of God. Help me to not be discouraged when the world doesn’t understand or accept me, for they did not know you. May I always find my identity and security in you, my loving Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.
1 John 3:1
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the Father has given us a great love by calling us children of God, and because of this, the world may not understand or recognize us.
