Prayer based on Luke 11:5. Themes: Prayer, Persistence, Hospitality.
Dear Lord,
As I come to you in prayer, I am reminded of the story of the man who went to his friend at midnight to ask for bread. Just as he had the courage to ask for what he needed, I too come to you with my own requests.
Lord, I ask that you would provide for me in my time of need. Just as the man asked for three loaves of bread, I ask that you would provide for me in my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
I trust that you are a good and loving God who desires to give good gifts to your children. So I come to you with faith, believing that you will hear my prayer and answer according to your will.
Thank you for your provision and your faithfulness. May I always remember to come to you with my needs and trust in your goodness.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
