Heavenly Father, I thank you for your wisdom that speaks to us through your word. I claim the promise that you will send prophets and apostles to guide us in our journey of faith. I pray that I may have the discernment to recognize their message and the courage to follow their teachings. Even if some of them are killed or persecuted, I trust in your sovereignty and know that your plan will prevail. Help me to be faithful to your calling and to share your love with others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
