Dear God, please help me to examine the light within me and ensure that it is not darkness. May I always seek your guidance and truth to illuminate my path and lead me towards righteousness. Help me to be a beacon of light in this world and to shine your love and grace to those around me. Amen.

Verse: Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness.
Luke 11:35

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to examine themselves and make sure that their perception of what is good and right is not actually darkness.
