Prayer based on Luke 11:27. Themes: Blessing, Motherhood, Honor.
Dear Lord,
As I lift up my voice to you today, I claim the promise that was spoken by the woman in the multitude. Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you. I thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, who came to save us from our sins.
I pray that you would bless me and my family, just as you blessed Mary, the mother of Jesus. May we be filled with your grace and mercy, and may we always seek to follow your will for our lives.
Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the promise of eternal life through your Son. May we always give you the glory and honor that you deserve.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!”
Luke 11:27
This is a Promise. The woman declares that the mother of Jesus is blessed.
