Prayer based on Luke 11:25. Themes: Repentance, Forgiveness, Restoration.
Dear Lord,
I claim the promise that when you return, you will find my life swept and put in order. I pray that you will help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, one that is filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I ask that you will guide me in all that I do, and help me to follow your will for my life. May my heart be open to your leading, and may I always seek to do what is right in your eyes. Thank you for your promise that when you return, you will find my life swept and put in order. I trust in your faithfulness and love, and I pray this in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
Verse: When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.
Luke 11:25
This is a Promise. The verse (Luke 11:25) is describing the result of a situation, where a previously unclean and chaotic place has been cleaned and organized. The promise is that when the owner returns, he will find it in that state.
