Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for your wisdom and discernment in knowing when to withdraw from situations that may lead us astray from your will. Help us to have the same discernment in our own lives, to recognize when we are being tempted by worldly desires and to turn to you for guidance. May we always seek your will above our own and trust in your plan for our lives. Amen.

Verse: Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
John 6:15
