Dear Lord, I thank you for the gift of your written word. I claim the promise that these words were written so that I may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, I may have life in his name. I pray that you strengthen my faith and help me to trust in your son, Jesus Christ, as my savior. May I live my life in his name and experience the abundant life that comes from believing in him. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.
