Dear Lord Jesus, we thank you for your love and sacrifice for us. As we read your words to Mary, we are reminded of your great power and authority. Help us to trust in your plan for our lives and to have faith in your promises. May we go forth and share your message with others, just as Mary did. We pray that you continue to guide us and lead us closer to our Heavenly Father. Amen.
Verse: Jesus said to her,“Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
John 20:17
This is a Command. The command is for the woman to go and tell Jesus’ brothers that he is ascending to his Father and their Father, to his God and their God.
