Dear Lord, we thank you for the customs and traditions that remind us of your love and mercy. As we approach the Passover season, we ask for your guidance and wisdom. Help us to understand the significance of releasing someone during this time and how it relates to our faith. We pray that you would reveal to us the King of the Jews, who came to save us from our sins. May we have the courage to accept him as our Savior and Lord. We ask for your grace and mercy as we seek to follow your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”
John 18:39

This is a Command. The verse is asking the reader if they want the King of the Jews to be released to them.
