Praying from Romans 1:22. Themes: Pride, Wisdom, Folly.

Dear God, please help me to never become so prideful that I profess myself to be wise and end up becoming a fool. May I always seek your wisdom and guidance in all that I do, and may I humbly acknowledge that true wisdom comes from you alone. Help me to avoid the pitfalls of arrogance and self-righteousness, and instead, may I always strive to live a life that is pleasing to you. Amen.

Verse: Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Romans 1:22

This is a Command. The verse is warning against the danger of pride and self-righteousness, and instructing the reader not to fall into the trap of thinking they are wise when they are actually foolish.
