Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you today with humble hearts, seeking to know you more intimately. We ask for your forgiveness for the times when we have failed to recognize you in our lives. Help us to see you in all things and to know you as the Father. May we never doubt your presence in our lives and may we always seek to know you more deeply. We pray that you will reveal yourself to us in new and profound ways, so that we may grow in our faith and become more like you. In your holy name we pray, Amen.

Verse: Jesus said to him,“Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘ Show us the Father?’
John 14:9

This is a Command. The command is for Philip to recognize that Jesus is the embodiment of the Father and to stop asking to see the Father separately.
