Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for your promise to give us another Counselor who will be with us forever. I claim this promise today and ask that you send your Holy Spirit to guide and comfort us in all our ways. May we always be aware of your presence and feel your love surrounding us. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always keeping your promises. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:
John 14:16

This is a Promise. The verse promises that Jesus will pray to the Father and that the Father will give the reader another Counselor who will be with them forever.
