Dear Lord Jesus, like Simon Peter, I too ask you, “Where are you going?” I long to follow you wherever you lead me. Thank you for your promise that even though I cannot follow you now, I will follow you afterwards. I claim this promise and trust in your perfect timing. Help me to have faith and patience as I wait for your guidance and direction. May I always seek to follow you and your will for my life. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered,“Where I am going, you can’t follow now, but you will follow afterwards.”
John 13:36

This is a Promise. Jesus promises Peter that he will follow him afterwards.
