Prayer based on John 21:17. Themes: Love, Forgiveness, Obedience.

Dear Lord Jesus,

As I read the words of Peter being asked three times if he had affection for you, I am reminded of my own love for you. You know everything about me, my thoughts, my actions, and my heart. You know that I have affection for you, and I pray that my love for you will continue to grow each day.

Just as you instructed Peter to feed your sheep, I pray that you would guide me in how I can serve and care for those around me. Help me to be a vessel of your love and grace, and to share your message of hope with those who need it most.

Thank you for your unfailing love and for the sacrifice you made on the cross for me. May my life be a reflection of your love and may I always seek to follow you.

In your precious name, I pray.

Amen.
