Dear Lord, I thank you for the testimony of John, who cried out and proclaimed that you are the one who surpasses all. I claim the promise that you were before me and that you will always be with me. Help me to trust in your power and wisdom, and to follow your lead in all that I do. May my life be a testimony to your greatness, and may I always give you the glory and honor that you deserve. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

John 1:15
