Praying from James 1:24 relating to Identity, Memory, Self-Deception.

Dear Lord, please help me to see myself clearly and to remember the person I am meant to be. May I not be like the one who forgets their true identity and purpose as soon as they turn away. Give me the strength and wisdom to stay true to myself and to always strive to be the best version of myself. Amen.

Verse: for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
James 1:24

This is a Command. The verse is a warning to the reader to not be like the person described who forgets their own character.
