Dear God, please help me to not only hear your word but to also be a doer of it. May I not deceive myself by only listening but failing to act on your teachings. Give me the strength and courage to live out your word in my daily life. Amen.

Verse: But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
James 1:22
