Praying from Hebrews 4:2 relating to Faith, Good News, Unbelief.
Dear God, thank you for the good news that has been preached to us. Help us to receive it with faith and allow it to transform our lives. May we not be like those who heard the word but did not believe, but instead may we be filled with faith and obedience to your will. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust in you more each day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.
Hebrews 4:2
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to mix faith with the word they hear in order for it to profit them.
