Praying from Hebrews 4:3 relating to Belief, Rest, Wrath
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise of rest that you have given to those who believe in you. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to enter into that rest. I know that in the past, your wrath prevented some from entering into your rest, but I trust in your grace and mercy to allow me to experience it. I believe that your works were finished from the foundation of the world, and I trust in your power to bring me into that rest. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and I pray that you will help me to live in the peace and rest that you have promised. Amen.
Verse: For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
