Praying from Hebrews 13:3 relating to Compassion, Unity, Empathy.
Dear God, please help me to remember those who are in bonds and those who are ill-treated. Help me to empathize with them and to feel their pain as if I were in their situation. May I be moved to action to help those who are suffering and to be a source of comfort and support to them. Help me to remember that we are all part of the same body and that we are all connected. May I be a reflection of your love and compassion to those who are in need. Amen.
Verse: Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
Hebrews 13:3
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to remember and empathize with those who are in bonds or ill-treated, as if they themselves were in that situation.
