Praying from Hebrews 12:5 relating to Chastening, Reproof, Endurance

Dear Lord, please help me to remember the exhortation that reasons with me as with a child. Help me to not take lightly the chastening of the Lord and to not faint when I am reproved by you. Give me the strength and wisdom to learn from my mistakes and to grow in my faith. Thank you for your love and guidance in my life. Amen.

Verse: You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,“My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;
Hebrews 12:5

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader not to take lightly the chastening of the Lord and not to faint when reproved by Him.
