Praying from Ephesians 6:2 relating to Obedience, Respect, Family

Dear God, I pray that you help me honor my father and mother as you have commanded. Give me the strength and wisdom to show them respect and love, even in difficult situations. Help me to be grateful for all they have done for me and to always seek their guidance and support. Thank you for the promise that comes with this commandment, and may I always honor my parents in a way that brings glory to you. Amen.

Verse: “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise:
Ephesians 6:2
