Praying from Ephesians 5:33 relating to Love, Respect, Marriage.
Dear God, please help me to love my spouse as I love myself. May I always prioritize their needs and desires, and treat them with the same kindness and respect that I would want for myself. And may my spouse feel valued and appreciated, knowing that I hold them in high regard and honor them as my partner in life. Help me to also show respect to my husband/wife, recognizing their unique strengths and contributions to our relationship. Thank you for the gift of marriage and for the opportunity to grow in love and respect for one another. Amen.
Verse: Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Ephesians 5:33
This is a Command. The verse instructs husbands to love their wives as they love themselves and instructs wives to respect their husbands.
