Praying from Ephesians 2:11 relating to Identity, Gentiles, Circumcision.
Dear Lord, I pray that I may always remember that I was once a Gentile in the flesh, called “uncircumcision” by those who were called “circumcision” in the flesh, made by hands. Help me to never forget that it is only through your grace and mercy that I have been brought near to you. Thank you for including me in your family and for making me a part of your kingdom. May I always be grateful for the gift of salvation and may I never take it for granted. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision” ( in the flesh, made by hands),
Ephesians 2:11
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to remember their past identity as Gentiles who were called “uncircumcision” by the Jewish people.
