Prayer based on Acts 8:36. Themes: Salvation, Baptism, Obedience.
Dear Lord, as I journey on my way, I pray that you guide me towards the living waters of your grace and mercy. Just as the eunuch saw the water and desired to be baptized, I too long to be cleansed and renewed by your Holy Spirit. Remove any obstacles that may be keeping me from fully surrendering to you and receiving the gift of salvation. May my heart be open and receptive to your will, and may I be filled with the courage to follow wherever you lead. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: As they went on the way, they came to some water; and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?”
Acts 8:36
This is a Command. The eunuch is asking to be baptized, which is a command for the reader to follow in their own life.
