Dear Lord, we pray that you would help us to take heed to ourselves and to all those in our care. May we be faithful overseers, guided by the Holy Spirit, as we shepherd your people. We ask for wisdom and discernment to lead your assembly in the ways of righteousness and truth. We thank you for the precious blood of Jesus that purchased our salvation and the salvation of all who believe. May we never take this gift for granted, but always remember the great cost that was paid. Help us to be faithful stewards of your grace and to lead others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In His name we pray, Amen.
