Dear Lord, as I wait in this world, my spirit is provoked within me as I see the many idols that people worship. I pray that you open their eyes to see the truth and turn their hearts towards you. Help me to be a light in this dark world and to share your love and truth with those around me. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Acts 17:16

This is a Command. The verse does not contain a promise, but rather a command to the reader to be provoked in their spirit when they see things that go against their beliefs.
