Praying from Acts 15:24. Themes: False teachings, Freedom in Christ.
Dear Lord, we come before you with heavy hearts, knowing that there are those who have gone out from us and troubled others with their words. We pray for those who have been unsettled and confused by these teachings, that they may find peace and clarity in your truth. We ask for your guidance and wisdom as we navigate these difficult situations, and we pray that we may always stay true to your commandments and teachings. Help us to be a source of comfort and support for those who are struggling, and may we always be a shining example of your love and grace. Amen.
Verse: Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘ You must be circumcised and keep the law,’ to whom we gave no commandment;
Acts 15:24
This is a Commandment. The verse is warning against false teachings and commands the reader to not be troubled by those who preach circumcision and keeping the law.
