Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in Acts 11:24. I pray that you would make me a good person, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. May my life be a testimony to your goodness and grace, and may many people be added to the Lord through my witness. Help me to live a life that honors you and brings glory to your name. Thank you for the promise that when we seek you with all our hearts, you will be found by us. I trust in your faithfulness and goodness, and I pray that you would use me to bring others to know you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and many people were added to the Lord.
Acts 11:24

This is a Promise. The verse is describing the character of a man named Barnabas and how many people were added to the Lord through his ministry. There is no command given to the reader.
