Dear Lord, I come before you today and ask for your guidance and strength. I pray that you help me to love others as you have loved me. May I not see this as a new commandment, but as something that has been with us from the beginning. Help me to show kindness, compassion, and understanding to those around me. May my actions and words reflect your love and grace. Thank you for your never-ending love and for the opportunity to share it with others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Now I beg you, dear lady, not as though I wrote to you a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
2 John 1:5
