Dear Lord, as it is written in your word, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.” I claim this promise over my life today. I trust that you will provide for all my needs, whether I have much or little. Help me to be content with what you have given me and to use it wisely for your glory. Thank you for your faithfulness and provision. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement that those who gathered much manna in the wilderness had no excess, and those who gathered little had enough. It is a promise that God will provide for His people’s needs.
