Praying from 2 Corinthians 8:12. Themes: Readiness, Acceptance, Contentment.
Dear God, please help me to always be ready and willing to serve you. May my heart be open to your calling and may I use the resources and abilities you have given me to the best of my ability. Help me to remember that it is not about what I don’t have, but about what I do have and how I can use it for your glory. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Amen.
Verse: For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
2 Corinthians 8:12
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to be ready and willing to give according to what they have, rather than feeling pressured to give beyond their means.
