Praying from 2 Corinthians 8:11. Themes: willingness, completion, ability.
Dear Lord, I pray that you would help me to not only be willing to do what you have called me to do, but also to complete it with all of my ability. May I not grow weary or discouraged, but instead be strengthened by your grace and empowered by your Spirit to finish the work that you have set before me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the opportunity to serve you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Verse: But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.
2 Corinthians 8:11
This is a Command. The verse is instructing the reader to complete a task that they had previously shown willingness to do, using their own abilities.
