Dear Lord, as I prepare to visit my loved ones, I am afraid that I may find them not as I hope. I pray that you would go before me and prepare their hearts to receive me with love and kindness. Help me to approach them with humility and grace, and guard my heart against any strife, jealousy, anger, or pride that may arise. May our time together be filled with peace, joy, and unity, and may we build each other up in love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For I am afraid that perhaps when I come, I might find you not the way I want to, and that I might be found by you as you don’t desire, that perhaps there would be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, whisperings, proud thoughts, or riots,
