Praying from 2 Corinthians 12:10. Themes: Suffering, Strength, Christ’s Power.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that when I am weak, then I am strong. Help me to take pleasure in my weaknesses, injuries, necessities, persecutions, and distresses for your sake. May I find joy in the midst of my struggles, knowing that you are with me and that your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I trust in your promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me, and that you will give me the strength to overcome any obstacle that comes my way. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the assurance that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
