Praying from 1 Timothy 6:12 relating to Faith, Eternal Life, Confession

Dear God, help me to fight the good fight of faith. Give me the strength and courage to hold onto the eternal life to which I have been called. I confess my faith in you before many witnesses and ask for your guidance and support as I continue on this journey. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12

This is a Command. The reader is instructed to “fight the good fight of faith” and to “take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.” The verse also references confessing the good confession in front of witnesses, but this is not necessarily a command or promise in itself.
