Dear God, I thank you for your promise that you did not appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to live a life that reflects your love and grace. May I always remember that salvation is a gift from you and that I am saved by faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your mercy and grace, and for the hope that I have in you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
