Praying from 1 Thessalonians 4:1 relating to Pleasing God, Spiritual growth.
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you as brothers and sisters, seeking your guidance and strength. We ask that you help us to walk in a way that pleases you, just as we have learned from your teachings. We pray that you would help us to grow and abound more and more in our faith and in our love for you. May we always seek to honor you in all that we do, and may our lives be a reflection of your grace and mercy. We thank you for your love and for the gift of salvation, and we pray that you would continue to guide us on our journey with you. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
Verse: Finally then, brothers, we beg and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more.
1 Thessalonians 4:1
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to walk and please God, and to do so increasingly.
