Dear God, I thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. I claim the promise that his sacrifice is not only for our sins but also for the whole world. I pray that through his sacrifice, all people may come to know you and receive forgiveness for their sins. Help me to live a life that reflects the love and grace that Jesus showed us through his sacrifice. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
1 John 2:2
