Praying from 1 Corinthians 9:15. Themes: Boasting, Sacrifice, Humility.
Dear Lord, help me to live a life that is not dependent on material possessions or worldly achievements. May my words and actions not be motivated by a desire for personal gain or recognition. Instead, may my sole purpose be to glorify You and to serve others. Give me the strength to resist the temptation to boast about my accomplishments and to remain humble in all circumstances. I pray that my life would be a reflection of Your love and grace, and that my boasting would never make void the work You have done in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: But I have used none of these things, and I don’t write these things that it may be done so in my case; for I would rather die, than that anyone should make my boasting void.
