Dear Lord, we thank you for reminding us that time is short and that we should focus on what truly matters. Help us to prioritize our relationships with you and with others, and to not be distracted by the things of this world. May we be content in all circumstances, whether we have a spouse or not, and may we use our time wisely to serve you and love others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: But I say this, brothers: the time is short. From now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;
1 Corinthians 7:29
